Dress Code

Whilst it is acknowledged that evolving fashions make absolute guidelines impractical, our prime objective remains that the standard of dress reflects the status and dignity of the Mosman Park Golf Club. Members and/ or guests whose dress does not meet the criteria of “neat and tidy” may be asked to leave the Course. The following guidelines will assist members in what is considered appropriate:

On the Course

Men

Permitted: Trousers or shorts with belt; all shirts must be either collared or turtle neck. Shirts that are cut square and tailored may be worn outside trousers or shorts; it is preferred that socks worn with shorts be predominantly white or complementary to the colour of other clothing.

Not Permitted: Board or cargo shorts, drawstring shorts, t-shirts, denim jeans and tracksuits.

Ladies

Permitted: Tailored shorts and ¾ pants; tailored slacks and golf skirts; collared shirts; crew and polo neck shirts; it is preferred that socks be predominantly white.

Not Permitted: Denim jeans, tracksuits, leggings, halter tops, lycra shorts and slacks.

In the Clubhouse & on the Deck

Members and/ or guests whose dress does not meet the criteria of “neat and tidy” may be asked to leave the Clubhouse. The following guidelines will assist members in what is considered appropriate:

Men

Members may remain in their golf clothes. Shirts that are cut square and tailored to be worn outside trousers are permitted. Golf shirts must be tucked in and have a collar. Denim jeans are permitted. Sandals or scuffs may be worn with shorts. Board or cargo shorts, drawstring shorts, t-shirts, singlets, thongs, ripped jeans or tracksuits are not permitted at any time.

Golf shoes with non-metal spikes may be worn in the Clubhouse & on the Deck.

Ladies

Members may remain in their golf clothes. No tracksuits or ripped denim clothing permitted. Denim jeans are permitted.
