Tony Howell is a AAA rated PGA Professional with an extensive background both as a tournament player and coach.

Tony has played golf since he was 11 years old and has devoted much of his life to trying to become the best player he could be. In 2006 he attended a seminar with prominent Australian golf coach, Gary Edwin. Gary’s teaching philosophy is simple, it is based around ensuring the correct body angles at set-up which eliminate the need for compensations during the swing. Gary Edwin has been teaching since 1961 and is recognised as one of Australia’s most influential golf coaches. He credits his success to his philosophy of making things simpler and understanding the cause of motion. It was this seminar that changed Tony’s beliefs and gave him a far more thorough understanding of the golf swing. In the years since 2006, Tony has made at least one trip per year to Gary’s Golf Academy at The Glades on the Gold Coast. Tony is now an accredited coach with the Gary Edwin Golf Academy and teaches the Right Sided Swing.
